Dont worry Spurs already convinced the world of that. Jordan would have never allowed that big of a beatdown to happen in his prime

Its a generation thing. Old timers will say bill Russell was the greatest. Then the next generation says Dr J was Jordan before Jordan. Then Jordan came along, then Kobe, then LeBron. In a few years someone else is gonna come along and my son will tell me that guy is the best ever.

there aint gonna be another jordan. the comparisons are unfair; jordan was arguably GOAT. the type of isolation play, one guy dominates the ball type game aint gonna do it no more. lebroad is the best of this generation, hands down.

jordan had h.grant and pippen during the first three peat. jon paxson hit the game winning shot vs the suns; jordan wasn't alone.

the second three peat was jordan, pippen and dennis fucking rodman (rodman is a HOF player). the team also had toni kukoc, who was fucking HOOPING and was the top euro player at that time. ron harper too? role player like steve kerr, who has the best 3 pt career shooting % ever (for players w over 2000 shot attempts over their career)? a team that won 70 games in the regular season?

to say jordan wasn't surrounded by anyone just aint true at all and is more of an emotional response than a logical one.
i grew up watching ball since the 80's - those bulls dominated the league so much it was boring to watch (almost)

lebreezy got people feelin some typa way but he is legit. if he jumps to another team, more power to him, he has taken control of his future instead of letting rich folks trade him like a baseball card.
You're acting like I didn't grow up watching the Bulls. I didn't say Jordan had no one around him, I said there were interchangeable players which is true and he made the players around him better by demanding excellence. How good would Tony Kucoc been on a different team, etc. Why didn't they win without Jordan when he left.

You're acting like LeBron is playing with some bums lol. He left Cleveland to create a super team in Miami. IF he leaves again to join say Carmello or whatever stars, wtf does that say about him?

I'm also not saying he isn't legit, obviously he's good.

Lol what rich people would trade him? Are you mad?

Lol what a douche if LeBron leaves again. Not 1, not 2, not 3, (turns out he was talking about the number of teams he'll play for not rings!)
At the end of the day its a business. Business does not equal loyalty, especially in professional sports. Maybe he stays, maybe he goes, whatever he decides is about him, as it should be. How much money did Cleveland and Miami make from him being associated with each of them? More than he did... #truestory

Lol all players make their teams money, that has nothing to do with anything. I guess in today's "me generation" it's cool to bounce around from team to team as long as you get that money. Fans caring more about a players contract and bank account than teams, loyalty, legacies, etc. The game sure has changed smh

i really cant say nothin bad about lebron anymore. he won 2 rings and regardless how he won them, its still a great feat nonetheless. im surprised he won 2, having another mediocre coach and a supporting cast who dont respect him a leader. game 5 he was trying to pump em up, get they heads in the game and they wasnt paying him no mind. like those players and us fans, we all get caught up in the media hype. yeah he has said he is king james, the chosen one, but he never came out and said he was better than jordan or even equal, not that i recall anyway.

just saying that lebron has taken his own destiny in his hands now, not leaving it all up to management or owners (in creating the super team) in regards to my 'rich people trading him' remark. i can respect that

jordan comparisons aint fair, lebron just ain that dude is what my point was meant to be (before i wrote paragraphs). hobe hella tries to be jordan but it aint ever gonna happen

Kobe grew up watching commercials sayin "I wanna be like mike" and shit. Everybody wants to be like Jordan. Who's supposed to try and be like, Vernon maxwell?

Kobe is the closest thing to Jordan we've seen, not saying he's better, but he's in the conversation.

Why should that mean anything? Overall, I don't watch sports for the team, I watch them to watch the players play the game. IDGAF what the Donald Sterlings say or do, I only care about how the 10 on the basketball court, or the 18 or 22 on the ball fields play, thats it. I don't care what jersey Lebron or any other player puts on, all I care about is when I watch does he got heart- cuz if he doesn't I'm turning that shit off. I don't care what hospitals my doctor is affiliated with, as long as he knows what he's doing when he needs to do it. That goes with any profession man. I don't go to work or put in work for anyone but myself and my family, you think an athlete should because they in entertainment? If you say so, but money talks and all that other is a bottle of that bullshit to me.

you just proving his point even more. sports to me is about the legacy, the competitive play. not how much money a person makes. from a personal standpoint yeah u right, do what you gotta do to feed ur family. but as fans, we shouldnt be concerned with contracts and bank accounts imo. ive been watching basketball since i was 6, ive seen a lot of great players over the years and great games and i will say the competetive nature of the basketball has diminished to some degree, again imo.

I understand both of your points of view. At the end of the day though if the owners going to get rich off the next man and then dump em because they aren't delivering, then a player has every right to jump ship and follow the money and the best fit for them. Its the nature of the beast.

We prob about the same age, I grew up in a sports household as well, both playing multiple sports and as a spectator. I understand how people are drawn to legacies and all that jazz, to me it means nothing though, mainly because money changed the importance of that, more importantly because I don't put the next man on a "pedal stool." I have favorite teams, at the end of the day though, I don't really give a shit about any of em.
