I've been turning on my fan (it's one of those cooling long tube looking bladeless fans, actually blows cold air even when its hot as fuck out, it rules) I've gone back and forth between "okay this is too fucking cold right now" and "fuck I kinda need the fan on" with it just set to 1. I wish they had a .5 setting lol.
The wall thing doesn't work because of the type of fan it is, I've tried. The air is only cold for so far and really doesn't cool down the room much as a whole. And it's as far from me as it can be and not be against the wall, which isn't far from the couch. Really not a lot of other convenient places to put it and as it gets hotter it's in the perfect spots.

It was $30 or $40 at Bartell Drugs a couple years back. They put them on sale every year around this time. Going to grab another seeing the oscillator on this one broke, which is part of the problem right now, and put the old one in my bedroom. It's a great fan for the price but like I said doesn't really cool down the whole room but is good if you put it close to wherever you sitting when it's hot as fuck out.

No fan is bad as those $14.99 lasko fans though, the big box ones they load up on at all the grocery stores and like smaller places like riteaid when it goes over 70 for a week.

This one works plenty well for our summers up here (typical 70s/80s) and is just fine for what I need it for a good price. So.... fuck you.
They actually blow cold air in hot weather, not just circulate hot air around the room like blade fans. My friend has an expensive ass one that actually cools the whole living room down in about 30 mins but fuck paying $500 for a fan you need for like 3 months out here and not even every day of those 3 months lol.

I had a nice fan that I always trun on before I go to sleep and my son broke it. So I bought a cheaper version of the other fan and it sucks bc when dust clings it slows and doesnt put out air until you take it apart and clean every part of it.
