It is crazy and very frustrating to think about. This guy should not have been able to drive a car, let a lone purchase weapons. It's a failure of our public policy and one that is not surprising to me considering the trend "we" have been on.

Reality is this was not someone who became mentally ill overnight, he was seeing multiple therapists. At the end of the day his parents failed him and society. This does not absolve him of the error in his ways by any means, but the parents had already identified abnormal behavior and limited cognitive abilities, and somewhere along the line felt it was a good idea for him to venture into the world as an average adult would when he should have been deemed incompetent to care for himself. There is a consistent theme in our modern era, as pointed out already, these people are mentally ill and a danger to innocent people. As far as him being a homosexual, I doubt it, otherwise he would not have held such a hatred toward women and wanting to specifically target them. An educated guess would be that women often assumed he was homosexual due to his social awkwardness and mental disabilities, and this affected him due to his abnormal cognitive abilities- although maybe he was, I don't know (but it would not explain his hatred toward women).

I think its tough to call someone with Aspergers a loser/faggot/etc. Bottom line is while it SHOULDN'T be, Aspergers is on the autism spectrum. The kid had a mental disorder and there could be a plethora of reasons as to why he came to the rationale that he did. Its very likely he held himself back and blamed everyone else. Its very possible that his Aspergers, while it lets you function cognitively, held him back from being able to function "normally" or at least understand fully what normal should be. There just isnt enough to go on in terms of his psychological profile. We know the end of the means, but we dont know what occured to lead up to that point in full detail.

Not only that, although the graph shows that the number of people incarcerated has increased by about the same proportion that number of people in mental facilities has decreased; that doesn't take into consideration the simultaneous monumental increase of people incarcerated on drug offenses.
In other words, it's not so simple to say that the US is just locking up people with mental illness now, because the reality is the US is locking up people on drug offenses while the mentally ill are neither treated OR locked up.

Also - serious tho, From various news sources. This is key. I don't think this is a false flag, but it is very interesting that he "wrote" this in his journal. I wouldn't be surprise if the powers that be doctored his journal and/or highlighted this fact to make way for more freedom for po to enter homes without warrant.
