Maybe you mean just big tone, cuz thats sav-it-outs only decent artist that i know of... And hes not dropping enough music to carry the torch by himself.

Nasty north drops hella music and its all good quality product... And theyre one of the few labels left that both nortes and regular citizens of norte calfas listen to... I think theyre the ones who will last the longest and stay relevant. Cuz theyve found a way to incoorporate their norteism into modern music that stays current, and not sound stale and out of date.

Theres a few others, but theyre more scattered out and its harder to stay at it when youre doing it alone or youre the only artist on the label thats any good and can sell records

laced and chingaso are pretty dope but havent heard really anything lately from them

yes big tone.. but Kev knocks is in my opinion the best producer since woodie. Laced has an album com in out in the next couple months supposedly and him and chingaso got a collar com in when chings court case is dealt with. where did you hear about a new NE/ Woodie album?? i agree that Nasty North is quality music but honestly.. its a hit or miss with me. the production is always solid but the artist don't always do it for me. when Big tone drops something i can always slap it. Lil Dees new one will be on iTunes May 6th i believe. Cop that just to support the homie but i honestly don't think its worth it. i don't really like Sideways as a producer and he did the whole album i believe.

thats tight though what rap bay had to say... hopefully thats legit. If its Woods mom putting it together that makes me feel much better.. not just some artist trying to make money off his name.

Years ago I put Woodie on the phone with Sideways. AFTER all the diss songs had surfaced and the problems were starting to look like they were heading to street problems and not just music. Woodie explained what his issue was and gamed Sideways up on the meaning of "YOC" vs the YOCH which sideways used. Woodie was older and had been in it longer than Sideways. Woodie and Sideways ended there issues. They actually seen each other in person after that and it was all good. And ANYONE who knew Woodie in real life knows he wasnt the type to let anything just slide. So if it wasnt good, he would have stepped to Sideways.

Not that that story is even relevant so many years later. But Lil Dee and A Wax for that matter, working with Sideways wouldnt have happened if there wasnt confirmation of Woodie squashing his beef with Sideways.

Thats whats up breh, i can respect that... Thats what needs to happen between alot of rappers, all that negative bullshit just holding our region back from reaching our potential.
