Before he was known worldwide as The Big Hurt, one of the greatest hitters in the history of baseball, a very special person believed in Frank Thomas. That person believed in him so much he'd wake up early to cook a well rounded breakfast so Frank would have energy for his long days. He'd take him to the batting cages before school started and spend hours doing soft pitch with him afterwards to work on his swing. When people said Frank was "too big for baseball" he believed in him. When Frank doubted himself, he believed in him. That person, that never gave up and pushed Frank to his limit everyday and made him the Hall of Fame baseball player he is today was none other then AP9.
