The Albums E-40 is currently releasing are not classified as a Double Album, or Triple Album, it's simple 3 Separate Albums on the same day or in this case 4 Albums on the same day. That's why I said they could all have different names because they are not classified as a set. Even though the titles suggest that, they are NOT PACKAGED in the SAME CASE.

Ok that's one example, but as I said in my original reply, that's why you'll find E-40's new albums all over the charts because there's so many versions of them. CD, CD Deluxe, iTunes, iTunes Deluxe, etc. On that one he did a 3 disc set and had the 3 Albums individually sold also. On the latest one that just came out, 4,5,6, he didn't do a set with all 3 packaged together, just 3 separate albums.

Again, I go back to my original statement of it being a sales pitch. And I'm not meaning bad by it at all.

It's much like the 50 Cent GTODT. The first 500.000 copies came with a bonus DVD. This will not only attract fans, but collectors & everything in between. At that time it was a guaranteed gold plaque off that alone.

Great marketing if you ask me.

It's totally a sale pitch. I was just agreeing with c-4 that they aren't packaged together so each one counts as a stand alone album soundscan wise. Except for that limited three disc set.

Honestly i have been trying to staybout of this thread same tired thread about how he should just put out one dope album blah blah blah 40 gonna do what 40 do

But it is a numbers game he has an indie label who needs distrobution nobody else on his label selling so he puts a years worth a product out at once finds hisniche single and grinds it out for a dew months then does it all over again

I think it is a sales pitch also, but i think hes trying to shoot for album sales as usual but also itunes sales... Cuz the albums whether they have filler or not, 40 makes sure they at least have closer to 10 good songs on them, making it more worth it to just buy the whole itunes album rather than pick and choose singles. But if u do only get a few singles, hey hes still getting paid, and theres gonna be a huge list of songs, probably like 60 songs from this year alone. So those people are gonna end up buying like at least ten of those singles, which prolly makes him even more money than an itunes album sale...

40 is a hustler he knows what hes doing

I was just slapping this the other day and was thinking it would be dope if he started rapping some of his songs more like this again, a lil bit slower but more consistant and not so all over the place with his rhyme patterns and shit...

And plus he has that "smooth" tone of voice on that one. On some of his newer songs the tone of his voice sounds wack like especially when hes listing shit sounds corny... Like he'll be like "Goons! -goons- Goblins! -goblins- Spooky! -spooky- Mobbin! -mobbin-" i hate when he raps like that lol...
