what happened to quality over quantity? He should release 1 good album rather than 4 average ones.
At this point in his career, with the rap game (and music industry) in the state it is, AND considering his new pattern of releasing multiple albums on the same day its safe to say that he likely will never release only one album on a day ever again.

doing this ensures 40 makes 2,3, and now 4 times the money he would normally make compared to releasing only 1 album. at this point 40 would be foolish to leave money on the table when releasing a new project.

I agree with everything that's being said.. I think it's it's obviously a way to make more money, but also to appeal to a more mainstream fan base (other regions, styles of rap, etc) because it's going to be loaded with both southern/east coast features, and music that's made specifically Top 40 for radio/MTV video play.. Its not my cup of tea but I understand that's become a main part of his repertoire.. He will have some songs/CDs oriented towards the Bay, with Bay features and subject matter.. If anything, I personally will find out which songs r the blappers, then make my own mix of 1 solid album.. I'm not a diehard 40 fan to the extent of I'll slap 4 whole albums constantly when I'm only digging 4 or so songs off Each, as it was in the past Block Brochures etc

If thats the case, why not release an "E-40: Westcoast, E-40: Eastcoast, "E-40: Midwest and E-40 Southern Edition" and concentrate on that particular style instead of having the tracks all over the place.

The problem with these multiple albums is that there is no direction. Its just a bunch of tracks thrown into one. Might as well just be mixtapes without the DJ.
