Which makes no fucking sense in this day and age. Back when 99% of women were stay at home moms raising the kids for the past 20 years and the rare occurrence someone actually got a divorce back then I think it was a good thing to have and was fair. Not these days though except for in increasingly rare occasions. It's a super outdated legal obligation that needs to be more or less eradicated completely.

sounds like a cop who's wife cheated on him. His post are clear signs of an unstable person looking for an excuse to bust / harass people. And try to justify his wrong doing by blaming it on us Siccness Brehs LOL!
Its fair that a woman receives alimony / spousal support payments in instances where the man makes more money throughout the course of a marriage. You can't accustom a person to a certain lifestyle then rip that lifestyle from them in an angry bitter act of revenge, just because she has found someone better than you. It takes time to adjust afterwards and spousal support helps both the man and the woman by easing the woman comfortably into her new life.
Men make more money nowadays in this sexist world anyway so its only fair. In fact I think all spousal support payments should be increased by 25% to make up for the years of income inequality women have had to suffer for far too long
