I think I figured most of it out last night while talking about the show with a friend and now I'm kind of bummed out. Whatever Marty sees in the video he watches next week is going to be the wild card.

As long as it doesn't end with some supernatural bullshit I'm good. Reminds me of a movie that was great, until the end. Coincidentally it starred Matthew Mcconaughey. Frailty Frailty (2001) - IMDb
I loved the twist to Frailty when I saw it 11 years ago and still believed in that shit lol. But yeah, I don't think it will. The only supernatural elements are the acid flashbacks Rust has lol.
Everything is too bleak and depressing to have angels coming down to save people or Rust's daughter's ghost solving the case. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended with Marty and Rust dying or killing whoever's behind it all and having to try to cover it up again. Especially if it's someone from Marty's family that he's watching on the tape next episode.

lol i noticed the crunchy pasta too. He was eating it like a straight prick too, dangling it into his mouth and shit.
and both asses were nice, but i was really surprised about the wife's, Rust gave that shit a nice grab and bounce, and i dont think shes that attractive
True Detective, The Jeff Davis 8, And The 5 Horsemen Theory
Earlier this month, Medium published a very lengthy, fascinating, and engrossing piece by Ethan Brown on the Jeff Davis 8, the unsolved murders from 1995 to 2010 of 8 Louisiana women from Jeff Davis Parish, crimes that have long been connected to a serial killer. Before the piece, there was some suggestion that Nic Pizzolatto had perhaps gotten inspiration for True Detective from the Jeff Davis 8, and as a huge twist emerged in the narrative of the real-life case, the connection it has to True Detective has picked up more steam.
ya im gonna edit. even though its theory, it could be a spoiler i guess..Theres also link to the full story of the jeff davis 8 story thats a good read in the link i posted..
if 206's link is the link to the interviews with the writer and the wife, there are no spoilers in there. And I'm not reading that last link either, but the story it links to https://medium.com/p/d1b813e13581 is actually really interesting and not about the show, just about them whores getting killed.
