That david simon book looks especially dope. And the pelecanos book

I never get tired of crime thriller type books
I picked the pelecanos one reandomly out of his bibliography. He's the only author these days I buy hardbacks of. The simon is a classic. He wrote for/helped create both The Wire and Homicide Life on the Street and a lot of the situations were based on the real life shit he saw following around homicide detectives that he wrote about in the book. The actual stories are actually more dramatic than the fictional versions most of the time. Baltimore was a fucking hellhole in the 80/90s.

Think ill make one of my fav comfort foods in the morning. I don't know what to call it but its just a mess of;
Pork sliced into thin strips
Sweet yellow onion sliced
4 jalapenos sliced
Small can of plum tomatoes
Green and red bell pepper sliced into strips

No seasonings then you just stir fry it all till its completely reduced and its one big mess of caramelized sweet spicy goodness and eat it bite by bite with little torn pieces of flour tortilla. Like fajitas but more basic

I had a daydream I won the lotto once while bored at work. In it I worked for like 6 more months, not telling anyone. During a busy ass night when the managers help more with the actual floor duties I'd say "I'll start cleaning #6" to the floor staff. Then once in the auditorium I'd just leave down the back emergency exit (there aren't any alarms), not cleaning it at all, and never return or make contact with anyone from work ever again.

I'd be like an urban legend around the theatre and no one would ever know exactly what happened to me.
kinda related cool story bro

some dude was working at my work for like 3 or 4 months and lived down the street from another guy that worked there. a bank got robbed about 5 min from dudes house and he disappeared. never answered any calls from work and the other guy that lived in the street never saw him at home again. im pretty sure dude robbed the bank and then left the state or something
