Hyphy could have been something but people didn't keep it simple. People should of ran with the simple formula but then yellow busses saying the word hyphy over and over again. The Gemini is platinum off of what sounds hyphy to me. I have not analyzed the synthesizer and the drums but it sounds hyphy. It's cool when you think about it. 8 years after 40 and short had a resurgence because of hyphy a younger artist finally went plat off it.

C-Loz got some coo beats but in all honesty I feel like he just follows everyone else's trends. There's some beats where his shit sounds like a blend of DJ Mustard/ShoNuff/Traxamillion with a slightly different twist but then some of his beats sound like a carbon copy of each of them individually. He gots talent he just seems to be comfortable stayin in their shadows instead of tryin to elevate the sound by bringin a different element to it.

P. Child is super talented with his production but he literally has absolutely no track record to prove that. I can't name 1 song that he's produced that a casual fan would know off top of their head. That's a shame too. He's a triple threat that doesn't get anywhere the credit he deserves. I feel like even the rest of his peers don't show him that respect either or else they'd be knockin down doors to get at least one of his talents featured on their shit. He was on the the first Freshmen10 but didn't get a push from Amen/Thizzler anywhere near what they gave Roach. But then again, that's partly his fault though because he's only put out 2 EP's in the 3-4 years it's been since all that. I'm rootin for em tho, he needs to start by puttin out new music tho. I've been waitin on that for way too long now.
