too exhausted from work, social media, and yesterdays loss to go into my black athlete/society's hatred (but love more than anything (("everyone wants to be the nigga but no one wants to be a nigga"-paul mooney) black sports/culture diatribe
but its the same reason people hate Kaepernick. If a white athlete acts any way whatsoever, "classy", crazy, swagtastic, a square, in no way does social commentary label what that athlete does as part of white culture or marginalize white athletes. (people can joke, but it doesnt have any effect, dont even try to argue it), while the moment a black athlete opens his mouth hes under the microscope as an example of his black brethren.
people like Namo, whether trolling or not, can't STAND the idea of a black athlete/person having any actual swag, because they're insecure about their own lives. they want them to be "respectful and "Classy" (and dont give a fuck about if white athletes are "classy", or even use their "classness" as an example of white people as a whole) but really it just means "know your place nigger" and "dont get uppity." Its been going on for 100 years, when Jack Johnson defeated white boxers fair and square and couldnt be seen dating white women in public.
is Sherman annoying? sure? could u make a case it was classless? perhaps. but in no way should it be an example of how black people, or any people act.
also, MaddDogg had a great point in that we as a society are way too fucking self-involved for our own good. No ones a bad person online, no ones a piece of shit, everyone is "blessed" and "positive" and "doin me" yet they are the first fucking people to yell and bemoan how other people act. what's more is that sports ARENT classy. Sports used to be the lower to middle class form of entertainment, especially football. We so fucking full of ourselves nowadays, looking for every fucking feel-good moment to have a sports circle jerk over, that we dont realize that most athletes are pieces of shit in real life. very few are good people, and we cant expect them to be when their off the field shit is not what we're supposed to be watching.
real, positive ass people dont worry about that shit, dont put other people down, dont let it affect them.
and definitely dont call it "nigger shit."
