glad they got the grounding call but it took forever to get it. also, wasnt it just second down, they get the loss of down, that would make it fourth down???
you can't lose a whole play that hasn't happened yet if I'm not mistaken? Never heard that. Usually loss of down just means that if it was 2nd down, it's now 3rd down

yes i get that and that is the right call, the way its always been but ive never understood that terminology. it was an incomplete pass and would make it a loss of down no matter what, so why even say that?

That's what I thought too. Usually it's on some type play that gained yardage. Not sure why they would even bother to say it either?
