School Suspends Teacher After Nude Photos Found Online



A teacher was suspended from a Christian school in Ohio after nude photos of her showed up online.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported on Wednesday that Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy put an unnamed teacher on paid leave when pictures of her appeared on a "revenge porn" site.


"We can confirm we have an employee who appears in some photos that have been compromised and made digitally available," spokeswoman Jennifer Murphy said in a statement. "By compromised, I do mean were made available without her knowledge or consent."


The school includes children ages K-12.


Revenge porn sites allow people to upload naked photos of their exes and include personal details about them.


On Monday, WCPO reported that the teacher had resigned.
She also filed a police report indicating that her cellphone had been stolen.
"The woman is already a victim," the parent, who asked to remain anonymous, told WCPO. "But this being a Christian school, parents are upset that a teacher is even taking naked pictures and sending them to people -- and...her students are old enough to get online and Google their teacher's name and the photos come up."


University of Dayton Sociologist Art Jipson told WKEF it's never a good idea to send nude photos of yourself to anyone.


"We know people send these images as a way of trying to establish intimacy faster, quicker. 'I'm going to trust you and share this picture'," Jipson said. ""It's really risky."


Revenge porn victims and their advocates are lobbying for laws against it.



Currently, only California and New Jersey have laws in place offering protection or recourse to victims, according to the Associated Press

I had this math tutor who was sexy as fuck and I wanted to bone, until the day she pointed at a word problem I was having trouble with and used her thumb.

It's interesting you say that because when I was going through college, the majority of dumb sorority girls who were struggling with school turned to Education as a last resort.

I always found it funny the "dumbest" people I knew were becoming teachers........now it all makes sense.

It was really obvious when it happened in my country and I happened to be in school at that time. Before 1989, teachers had a lot of social prestige and many highly qualified people went into the profession. After that there was a sharp turn in society's priorities towards making money and materialism in general, and all of a sudden teachers found themselves at the bottom, with very low pay and no protection. In my old neighborhood school where I went to from 1st to 6th grade, some kids would in later years enter class with a bag of stones and start throwing them at the teacher if he decided to give them a test; and nobody would do anything about it. It has gotten very dangerous to fail students because if you do so, you may find yourself with the student's father (or his friends who happen to be martial arts or weight-lifting enthusiasts) waiting for you in some dark alley on your way home. And again, nobody would do anything about it. That kind of completely fucked up shit. So all of a sudden it became very very uncool to be a teacher and the only people who went into it were the ones who could not cut it elsewhere. And you could see the effects - in my later years in high school I had a few young teachers entering the profession and they were a disaster compared to the older ones - incompetent (we often knew more about the subject they were teaching us than they did) and not very smart. Now the generation that thought me has largely retired and I don't even want to imagine what the situation is...

The same thing is happening in the US though not yet to such an extreme and more gradually. The cool thing is to work on Wall Street or for some tech company in the Silicon Valley and to make money, and that's where many of the smart and ambitious people go. Meanwhile teachers' unions are getting busted one by one, public schools are defunded, wages are going down and job stability is disappearing. So gradually the composition of the people who enter the profession is becoming dominated by the not very intelligent and not very competent. The end result will eventually be similar.
