Meh! LA always breeds trash... Yall can say what ya want but when it comes to the integrity & purity of west coast gangsta rap; Sacramento always does it best... Dago still needs to get it together tho cuz we're breeding wackness too!!...

People keep sayin "Mustard & YG created that sound"....all they really did to "create" that "Mustard" style, was do a simple lil melody using a Synth bass with some distortion(each of the beats is give or take a few tweaks of a couple parameters away from bein the same exact sound in every beat damn near) and then makin that the "Lead/Focus" of an otherwise very simple beat. I'm not knockin dude, his beats are dope. But I'm tired of them actin like it was some revolutionary creative idea that no one has ever done before. It's just stupid.

I prefer Problem over YG personally. His delivery is more of a smooth, laid back type shit that I vibe wit alot more nowadays. I like some YG shit, I need to give the ReUp'd 1 & 2 a few more run throughs. Downloaded em a week or two ago & havent had the chance to give em a proper listen.

LA in fact did bred alotta talent in the 80s & 90s but now well at least within the last recent years I don't think its the case anymore... I be hearing alotta lackluster mediocre shit now... I only listenth o the ones that still make the signature g-funk sound...
We had a slew of rappers that didn't make it bishop Lamont indef taje g malone ace and k boy roccet problem Joe mosses Dom kenedy Yg soprano disko young hoggs nipsey tde bad lucc lil bam tiny c style chase snoppy blue big to the boy young giant yg hoodie hope Wright dirty bird sly boogie scipio thurs and more dropping dope shit lot of rappers I name started to keep it g funk but switch to southern beats witch is a shame

You intentionally leave Nipsey out? If so you out your damn mind. The only 1 from that list that you can actually make an argument for havin a bigger buzz than Nip is Kendrick. Take the "Control" verse out of the equation, it's Nipsey hands down. IMO, even with the "Control" verse, its Nipsey hands down. People don't understand the significance of the $100 album shit he did. And he did that WITH NO CONTROVERSY/DISSES behind the hype at all. Fuckin Jay-Z bought 100 copies just as a show of respect for takin that risky ass move. And he did it without Dr. Dre rapin his royalty points & ownership of the masters. That's huge.
