My point is saying shit in front of the camera does nothing. Pacquiao could say he wants to fight Mr T next and it means nothing. The only thing that matters is what happens behind the scenes off camera.

If you think Arum was 100% at fault, meaning Floyd and others (Oscar, Schaefer, Al Haymon, Todd DeBouf, Michael Koncz, HBO) had ZERO PERCENT involvement in this then somewhere you lost the plot homie. It took a group of egotism to fuck this up on epic proportions.
But as I said before...it's Bob Arum...name one thing...one SOLID FACT Arum did to make this fight happen...because there are a TON OF QUOTES on who kept calling the fights (negotiations) off. Arum who wouldn't add Mayweather's name to the "LIST" presented to Manny Pacquiao...fake COUNTDOWNS lol...negotiating in public as you once said.

Seriously man you're going to stand by that 100% Arum's fault bs?

Obviously Arum and Golden Boy were working together to make the fight happen during the first negotiations but stalled after the two teams couldn't agree on the cutoff date.

I'm not going to go down memory lane and have the played out debate again, but any person who followed it over the years would know both sides were at fault. I dont care if you say its 70/30 in favor of Bob's fault but at least acknowledge there were two sides to this, including Oscar and Schaefer who were publicly pouring gasoline on a fire. Shit was crazy how much bullshit was being said to the public by everyone involved.

I already said I'm not going down that road. Too much time, too much wasted energy on this topic. You can look up the quotes yourself of Oscar making public statements that he thinks Pacquiao is on steroids WHILE negotiations were taking place. Yeah, that helped the situation. Roger Mayweather publicly stating Pacquiao is on "A-side meth". Etc etc etc.

Again, this debate is older than Moses. I don't care. Point is plenty of guilty people involved.

Or that Manny was fighting on some drug that you can take 10 bullets and keep on coming lol. That shit was fucking weird. Not 100% on what he called it (Some drug from the Philippines) but I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I will...say it again...not one SOLID fact that Bob Arum wanted the fight...that Floyd Mayweather rejected the fight...that Golden Boy called off negotiations...if you stay within this frame work you will realize the truth of the matter...Manny Pacquiao NEVER WANTED THIS FIGHT.

Saying a fighter is on roids doesn't stop a fight...shit Razor Ruddock claimed Mike Tyson was on steroids after their two fights...but guess what...Tyson didn't sue anybody over the shit...if the role was reversed do you believe Floyd would have sued...no...he would accept the terms of the bigger draw like he did with Oscar Dela Hoya...when Oscar was king. At that time Manny was getting 50/50...gloves size...$10 million penalty from Floyd on weight issue...and Floyd signed the contract...and what happened? Who called off negotiations...who didn't sign...you see gentlemen those are what is called SOLID FACTS OF THE MATTER pertaining to the actions of ones true intent...not he say she say.

From 4 years ago to now. If you are a clean fighter you should have no problem with random testing. Ducking a fight because of random testing was a lame excuse in 2009 and is a lame excuse now I. 2013. If your biggest career payday was $35 Million including PPV money, turning down $40 million in 2012 was a lame excuse. Team Manny you are already fighting April 12th and its not Mayweather so stop talking about him. Using Mayweather's name to sale his fights lime normal. Lol..

What the fuck does words have to do with making a fight?? Mayweather offered Manny a fight two times, Manny turned them down both times. That's the facts let's move on.

He needs $40mill alright. The Bay Area @The Bay Area I agreed with you on the part that Manny could have made the fight with Floyd too, but its known that they both came up with excuses. That's it.

Looks like the Philippines version of the IRS are preventing Pacquiao from donating that $18m by freezing his bank accounts. They say they have no proof he paid taxes in the US in 2008-2009. Apparently there is a teaty between the US and the Philippines where a person can't be taxed twice, so if Pacquiao paid taxes in the US he can't be taxed in the Philippines.

They did the same thing in 2010 for his Clottey and Margarito fights. They froze his accounts temporarily. Pacquiao won the case and proved he paid taxes in the US. The Philippines are so corrupt typical drama. It's sad though because those poor people really need that money ASAP

Yep. Same exact thing they did to him aftet the Clottey and Margarito fights. He won by proving he paid the taxes.

If Pacquiao didn't pay taxes in the US for his fights against Oscar, Hatton and Cotto, he would have been Wesley Sniped and sitting in a US prison right now. Like the IRS would be like sure Manny, don't pay taxes, we don't care about tens of millions lol

But the problem is that Manny always has an excuse not to get in the ring with Mayweather. His last excuse was a career high payday of $40 million was not enough for him to fight Mayweather. Now Manny has to borrow $25k to help his country men. For a guy that so call makes about $25-30 million two times a year, he should have $25k with no problem. But again believe whatever you want the signs are all there that dude is broke and Top Rank is raping him.

So for Manny to turning down $40 million saying it's too low, then being broke a year later is too funny. Plus it shows how good that Mayweather offer truly was.
