2 injured in Roswell school shooting, hospital confirms | KOB.com

ROSWELL, N.M. -- At least two students are being treated for injuries after a shooting at Berrendo Middle School, according to a hospital spokesperson.
The Eastern New Mexico Medical Center spokesperson said the students were injured during the shooting. No further details could be released.
The school remains on lockdown after the shooting on Tuesday morning.
New Mexico State Police officials said local authorities were dispatched to the school just after 8 a.m. on reports of the shooting. According to the Roswell Police Department Facebook page, the shooter has been apprehended.
State police are expected to release more details at a press conference at 1 p.m.
Parents are asked to not go to the school due to the lockdown. Students are being bused to the Roswell Mall for pickup, according to the Roswell Independent School District superintendent.
