I wouldn't use weird freak to describe a grown man who physically abuses a defenseless 2 year old baby. It was the mothers choice to leave the baby with the unstable individual. The baby had no choice, he's only 2. It's moms fault, she should know her company better especially if she's leaving her baby with him.
I'm not saying its her fault and not his, they should both be held accountable.

Man accused of killing Peterson’s son was previously charged with abusing a 3-year-old
The man accused in the beating death of Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old son had previously been accused of abusing a 3-year-old.
The Argus Leader reports that Joseph Robert Patterson had previously been given a suspended sentence on two domestic abuse cases, one involving an assault on a woman he was previously involved with, and another involving an assault on that woman’s child.
Patterson was given a one-year jail term for each of those two charges, but the jail time was suspended on the condition he attend domestic violence counseling.
Now Patterson is charged with aggravated assault on an infant in the beating of Peterson’s son. Additional charges are possible now that Peterson’s son has died.

No wonder he didn't seem that broken up about it. Makes you wonder his involvement in the childs life, if he wanted to be in it, etc. I dont know all the facts, but it seems like AP isn't necessarily the good guy in this either. The real victim in all this, besides dying, is the child 100%...he got a shit head for a "father", and then his mom dates some baby beater and he dies. Humans disgust me more and more as a get older.

ray rice is praying the media turns its focus to AP. i always hated ray but it is fucked up how he is made into the devil and the worst wife beater because the nfl's mismanagement of his case.

We are white people from Seattle we don't understand southern African American strict parenting breh.
Maybe he crossed the line a bit with the lashing but by all accounts the guy is a loving father and a stand up person. He's obviously strict which is also how he was raised. I've heard of way worse than this from strict parents. I'm not comfortable labeling him a child abuser because he lashed his child as punishment. Again, maybe he crossed the line a bit but that's really not for us to say.

I disagree. If you're having to "discipline" your kid to that extent, you're failing in many other areas as a father. It's not like he's a 16 year old kid who shot up a school, he's 4 years old man! No excuse for that and it's a hell of a lot more than strict. The military is strict too, but they don't go cutting you and slashing your nuts dude.
