Man, I've seen that too. When the Harlem Shake thing was poppin on YouTube I went looking for Baauer music and there were hella tapes called like "Shut Your Trap" and "Trap Artist" and other puns. I think they call it Trap Step, like trap and dub step. Also seen it called trap n bass which sounds gay as fuck. But no, I don't consider it "trap music." Real dudes who are really in the trap get to say whether it's trap or not and I haven't seen anyone rep that style in that way.

they call it trap cus the drum patterns. the only thing trappy about Rap God is they use the synths/digi samples in an "electronic" way, not in a "hip hop" way. but them drums aint southy at all.

he did it all for the sake of clever wordplay:

"And I just bought a new Raygun from the future
To just come and shoot ya like when Fabolous made Ray J mad
Cause Fab said he looked like a fag at Mayweather’s pad
Singin' to a man while they played piano
Man, oh man, that was a 24/7 special on the cable channel
So Ray J went straight to the radio station the very next day
''Hey, Fab, I'mma kill you''
Lyrics coming at you at supersonic speed, (JJ Fad)"

"whats a king when you can be a God."

Bye K.Dot/Yeezus

Fuck you haters. Em just displayed all styles of double timing on this track while giving props to the Hip Hop Pioneers.

Lyricism is back in the mainstream.

Thanks Kenny for the inspiration.
