Nah man. White/black/asians/other are a huge chunk of Floyd PPV sales. Canelo vs Chavez would almost be exclusive to Mexicans and you ever been to a mexican PPV party before? Like 145 Mexicans in front of one TV lol so you know Maybe 5 million Mexican Americans would watch it but that would translate to like 400,000 PPV buys haha

Canelo will probably have a good career but i wasnt all that impressed with his win over shane mosely and he was what 40, so i dont see canelo koing mayweather for at least 10 years lol

^^ all b.s. aside, I hear a lot black dudes (including Stephen A Smith on ESPN) talk like they know everything there is to know about boxing because they predict a Floyd Mayweather victory. They make it seem like all black fighters never lose because Floyd wins. I hate talking about boxing with most people because most people don't follow it that closely but that crap really annoys me because it always ends up with "all I know is, Floyd wins."
I watched Pacquiao/Morales 1 with mostly Mexicans and 1 Filipino which was great. Watched 2 and 3 with all Mexicans, it was horrible lol

Of course there is a lot of mexican pride involved in this sport and Floyd has always acknowledged that. The thing is out here in southern Cali, or maybe in a lot of southwest states, they show these fights for free with like a 15 to 1 hr delay, but none the less for free. Plus, Floyd does have a huge following and gambling is legal down south so maybe thats why the drawings are huge whenever Floyd fights a mexican. A shit load of my homies were rooting for Canelo, but knew Floyd was going to win or put their money on Floyd. Mexicans do prefer a style a fighting, but still appreciate skills. And that's the formula that Floyd ppv's have, a mexican fighter vs a skilled fighter that might give in(which will never happen).
