earwax is not as pure as shatter and bho, there are still solids in there. its superior to regular hash, bubble hash, and most hash oils though. i melted earwax into one of my omicron cartridges and it vaped kinda ok, but it killed the coil (heating element) in the cartridge pretty fast
in the scheme of things they are all over kill and will get you ripped but i prefer bho and shatter cause they melt almost instantly from any kind of heat even just from your hands, then resolidify so it doesn't leak out of the vape cartridge, and is clear of solids so its coil friendly. shatter is the easiest to work with and healthiest, but i usually just look for bho cause its easier to obtain

Yeah, by 'shatter' im just talking about the texture of the product. You are 100% correct that c02 extractions are generally higher quality.
