Should have been Me Against The World against Ready To Die, that's his best album. Ready To Die is nowhere near as deep as Me Against The World

Ready to Die is the only album I personally think is a classic out of any of the releases between both of the artists so that's what I went with.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This

any 2Pac album beating Ready To Die on these forums is most definitely west coast favoritism.

2Pac was good and all, but Ready To Die > 2Pac's whole catalog

2Pac will always be the better Pound 4 pound artist. This rap shit was his calling, not that it wasn't Biggies as well, but to me, I look at Biggie as a dude who could battle his ass off, and made it out of that to record some entertaining songs every now and then. 2Pac had a message that Hip Hop wouldn't be the same without.

Art should teach and entertain, but I'll always favor the guy who is teaching. Same goes for Jay-z and Nas. Nas provokes thought.

I picked AEOM over RTD cuz it is a better album and by this time Pac was a seasoned vet that still came at this album like it was his first. and I don't think it's a coast vs coast thing cuz Pac had Red n Meth on this too with some southern sounding beats too, those fools from Jodeci, very new sound to hip hop

all of this talk about "2Pac had a message" and "2Pac changed the game" and all this other shit was NEVER said when he was alive. All that "message" shit only started after he died lol 2Pac was just a popular rapper when he was alive. After he dies people made him out to be some kind of hip hop prophet.

The most overrated rapper in history and would never even be in "greatest rapper ever" talks if he didn't die.

Sure, but tell me anything after that album did outside of a song here and there did and you're a damn liar.

I remember that era in music clearly and nobody was on 2Pac's dick as some kind of hip hop prophet until after he died. He went from a popular rapper to the Messiah of rap lol

He had a lot of good songs, don't get me wrong, I was a fan of a lot of his music, but most of his albums half the tracks were skipable.

It just makes me nuts when folks act like 2Pac is the greatest and was on some "he changed the rap game with his messages" bullshit when NOBODY was saying that shit until after he died.
