Not that Im here defending the media, but where is the controversy in this case? Dude got killed, four men arrested and will be convicted. Zimmerman was an overzealous neighborhood watch who shot an unarmed kid. The controversy was if he was racially profiling, the stand your ground law, etc.

How many murders happen in America? 15,000-20,000 or so a year? Obviously only a handful will get big media coverage and those are the ones with controversy. Casey Anthony for example.

Also it would make sense with him being a former senator of Illinois, where Chicago is one of the worst cases of this problem, that he would speak on this. Then again, Senator Obama and President Obama are 2 different people.

He did say the community has to do better, but if he directly just talked to the community he would be accused of pandering only to black problems not America's as a whole.

2nd this didn't get major news coverage because their asses got arrested and are going to jail. Another marine just got stomped to death by a gang of asians in LA like 2 weeks ago, no major coverage. That football star who died in Afghanistan got media coverage and we know why.


3rd Zimmerman wasn't arrested in the first place after he killed an unarmed teenager, that's why the shit got hella media coverage... like come on with the BS.

also, where are the details. "got into an altercation". who knows WHAT the fuck happened or how it escalated. being a marine, I think its fair to say that this dude "wasnt gonna take shit from anyone." and dont say we dont know what happened in the Zimmerman case, there is more than enough evidence (despite the court not using any of it) to go around, that shows what really happened.
