There is two types of family members looking for help... Those that want help so they can get on there feet and get the fuck out. Good example is a cousin stayed at her bros house cause was broke on the couch but promised to pitch-in and finished foothill while holding a job- currently finished ucsb now a social worker in SF.

Other just looking to free load long as possible, with no intention improving themselves.

Seeing my actual family consists of myself, my mom, and my grandma I really don't have to deal with any of that.

I've had to cut off some really close friends though over them trying to mooch off everyone for their own agendas. I can give that kind of shit a slight pass when you are in your teens and early 20s but if you are in your 30s and still doing the same shit I don't have the time for all that.
