Ok Ill say he struggled a bit but like u said i think he allowed it by allowing Cotto to get him on the ropes. People thought his legs were gone but I think he just chose to fight that way and obviously while he won by a wide margin its still not the smart thing to do. He needs to fight like he fights and take advantage of his great skill set. He doesnt need to prove nuthin to anyone by going toe to toe and letting himself get hit lmao. Got Em!!
You are discrediting Cotto a little here.

The Ghost is slower than Cotto and not quite the boxer Cotto is. Cotto is much more fundamentally sound. Those things work in your favor when you fight Mayweather. (Which is why I think Canelo fight will be a good one)

Canelo is a better boxer than The Ghost and I do believe he would be Cotto.

Mayweather was just too quick for The Ghost. Never got hit with any of those bombs he throws...

Your questions aren't questions there loaded with your own opinion. As I've stated numerous times now Canelo vs Mayweather at 152 is legit and a great fight for everyone involved.

Obviously Pacquiao vs Cotto was a better win for Pac compared to Floyd's (u admitted this yourself).
See Mr. Double Talk this is my problem with you. You not me was the one talking shit before I posted a word about Mayweather vs. Canelo. You called me a hypocrite about catchweight and the rest of the dumb ass co-signed your bullshit. But then I asked you a few simple questions about Cotto vs. Manny 145lb and you expose your own bullshit and double talking. You said it yourself that I gave more credit to Manny for his win over Cotto then Mayweather, and Manny fought Cotto was at a 145lb catchweight. So how can I be a hypocrite about catchweights when I gave Manny his credit for his win over Cotto???

That’s why I call you Mr. double talk and I always call you on your bullshit and outright lies. The only people that have a problem with the catchweight or bitter Manny fans like yourself and rest of the cornballs that co-sign your bullshit. Now you have been exposed again for making shit up. Now you can change the subject because my point is proven again.

Now for the Cotto vs. Mayweather. I’m on record before that fight saying that Mayweather would go toe to toe with Cotto and he did. The funny thing in boxing is the myth that Cotto beat Mayweather up, or that the fight was close. Mayweather put a beating on Cotto and won the fight 9-3. Did Cotto show up and fought a great fight hell yes he did. Cotto was in shape, had a great gameplan, his triple jab was working, and he blooded Floyd’s nose. But Cotto got beat up pretty bad that fight, Floyd’s looping right hands and uppercut was landing a will.
Canelo is going to get a boxing lesson like The Ghost did. Mayweather will be very shape for this fight and with Canelo’s stamina problem it doesn’t look good for Canelo. But one of Canelo’s right hands can change all of that.

The only way Canelo can win this fight is if he knocks mayweather out if he doesnt then floyds gonna win by decision especially in Vegas
Tha same Canelo gets his decisions in Texas with open scoring in that joke of a scoring in the Trout fight! lol. Got Em!!

Call it what u want but Im just speaking on how Floyd went into the fight wanting to go toe to toe. Trust me if Floyd fought how he fought against Guerrero, Cotto wouldnt have even won a single round. Got Em!!

Toe to Toe????

Are you serious? I give credit for standing in front of Ghost and saying "hit me if you can" , but I always interpreted toe to toe as both swinging and landing shot on each other.

I wouldn't call Mayweather vs ghost toe to toe fight...

I think he was saying he fought cotto more "toe to toe", but against Guerrero he did not - he used a lot of movement, slid away from the ropes and boxed from the outside.

I wouldn't call it going toe to toe either against Cotto. I'd say he "stood in the pocket" meaning he was constantly in front of Cotto and didn't use much movement as far as his legs go (just upper body movement for defense ).

Yeah, toe-to-toe is exchanging blows. But people had an issue with the scoring of Canelo Trout fight, but not Cotto Mayweather? I didn't. That goes to show how underrated Canelo's defense is. The biggest fan can't even notice it, but the judges do. The same way they give rounds to Mayweather cuz his defense is that good.

LMAO! Dude that scoring was worse than Bradley over Manny lol. All the experts and even all the announcers pretty much had Canelo by one point r a draw lol. If u seriously think Canelo won 118-109 like one judge u smoking some bad shit lol. Trout lost before he stepped into that ring. No way was he gonna beat Canelo that night or come close to it. The fix was in big time in Texas lol. Got Em!!

Trout lost dude he almost got KO'd he was trying to play catch up the whole time....and if you seen the fight you can see his legs get a little weak whenever canelo will land a clean shot. Got Em!!!

So because he got knocked down he lost, is that what u are saying? Haha. Almost getting ko'd in a round which he was far from being doesnt win u a fight. Funny enough after he got knocked down, he actually won the rest of that round and was the aggressor. Guess u were watching a different fight then the rest of us lol. Got Em!!

Im talking about the margin. Bradley won a split decision on a fight that most thought Manny won 7-5 (115-113) in a close fight. Most thought Canelo won by a point or even a draw but scores were like 118-109, 116-111. Thats bullshit which means Trout never had a chance to win that fight. Got Em!!

CZAR @CZAR What experts are you talking about? Everyone knew, including the judges, that Canelo was keeping his cool cuz he was knowing the score. Since Trout knew the scores he had to step up each time also and he didn't. I'm being unbiased for a change and I'mma say that Floyd makes every punch count. Even if he doesn't have KO power, they are still power punches that connect. Trout didn't do none of that. It was a jab fest with his ass that had no power to it and didn't connect much power punching at all. This is pro boxing, prize boxing. They will score it by who brings out the best in each round.

Dude are u serious??? All 3 of the announcers had either Canelo by one point or a draw. Other experts like Kellerman etc....said after the fight they had it a draw. The majority of folks Ive seen talk about the fight said the same shit. Canelo by a slim slim margin or a draw. I dont know what else to tell u. If u think otherwise thats on u but Im just telling u my thoughts and what others that that follow the sport. Got Em!!

It was a very close fight. Could have gone either way. I agree with Battle though in regards to Trout knowing he was down yet still didn't prese the action much.

Btw open scoring sucks. It sounds good in theory but always ruins fights. The WBC has been flirting with it for years, often in foreign fights and it always sucks. Absolutely hate it.

Thats fine if u dont feel Trout pressed the action but atleast u agreed that the fight was close and couldve gone either way and thats all I was saying. Trout to me didnt need to press the action because he wasnt behind and thats what I mean he was screwed from the jump. I know he wanted the fight that bad but dont take a guaranteed "L" just to get it lol. Got Em!!
