Dang mayn, Tornadoes just destroyed a bunch of Oklahoma today. We were buying a house and it was destroyed I think. The school my son would be going to next year is flattened. All of my wife's family that lives down there is safe tho.

Any of y'all be through a natural disaster? I've been through Earthquakes in Cali including 89 and there's been a bunch of tornadoes around here but never hit me thank God.

That's good that all your people's are safe..There is nothing like a natural disaster to remind us how delicate we really are. Best of luck to you and everyone else affected. I haven't read or seen the news just yet, so I am not sure of the severity of the situation.

Yeah, it was brutal. Tornado was 1-2 miles wide. No idea on the wind speeds but places like a bowling alley are just completely gone. All you can see is the foundation. All kinds of neighborhoods are the same too. It was on the ground for what seemed like forever. Typical tornado though, destroys all kinds of stuff yet leaves a house right next to another in good condition. Doesn't make any sense.

Glad everyone you know is alright Diggidy.

That said I wish Storm Chasers was still on the air. I loved that show. Only crazy ass white dudes would be like "Alright, this is an F3 possibly an F4 tornado touching ground. If there is anything in it's way it could bring mass destruction and more than likely casualties. Lets plan on intercepting it five miles up the road and drive into the heart of it!"

Yeah Seattle is a little too far away from Rainier for much to happen if it blew again (besides maybe triggering an earthquake which I guess they say is possible). I didn't live out here last time it blew and from what I understand Seattle just kinda got covered in a slight layer of ash for a few days.
