Thing is Lucad is the type of fighter that won't fight out of the ring like Zab. So Garcias biggest mouth, his dad, won't effect anything. I just think it was hilarious looking at Danny's face after the knockout. He just had this "holy shit" look on him........time to move up to 147 hahaass

IMHO, Matthysse has earned the right to fight Floyd at 147. However, if that can't happen it's either Garcia or Broner.

I just looked it up...24 knock downs in his last 11 fights including tonight lol. He has knocked out or at least knocked down every opponent he's ever faced in his career. That's just stupid crazy

Big reason he wont get the Floyd fight is because he doesnt have a big following and isnt really known outside of hardcore boxing fans. Garcia would land the Floyd fight before Matthysse based off popularity alone. I dont expect either to get the Floyd fight and they should fight each other but well see. Got Em!!
I like Peterson but man he got whooped. Broner aint fighting Matthysse any time soon lol. Garcia probably gonna try and move up in weight now. Not even sure how much Floyd would be willing to fight him right now, very high risk and i would say low reward but Floyd would make hella money no matter how much of a draw Matthysse is or isn't
I know this was debated a couple times here, especially after his Alexander fight, but Lucas should be (and in my eyes) is undefeated. He beat Zab and Devon.......

guerrero had a 0 following and won the sweepstakes. i think mathhysse actually has more fans in the states then that bum the ghost. if he beats garcia i can see him getting a shot at floyd and he deserves it especially if he KO's garcia fuck that would be great i hate him and his fuckin dad. matthysse vs garcia will be a huge fight and generate alot of buzz in boxing even more then when rios vs alvarado was first announced.

Those two controversial losses made Matthysse into the beast he is today though. He said he learned to be more active and aggressive and to never plan on a fight going into the judges hands again. He's a better fighter now.
