BTW...property taxes are LESS than $1,000 (YEARLY!) and you can get a 4-5 bedroom home for LESS than $150,000 (with land) easily.

But that's part of giving up all those ''cool things to do'' young, single men need. I'm a young, MARRIED FATHER, so I'm cool here.

shit i feel you but Sf is my hometown so i got love for it. Id like to visit all them cities on the list though. Ive been to San Antonio and i liked texas a lot so i wouldnt mind stopping by houston.

Man I feel that, but problem is for me at least, nothing up my alley in my line of work in those small ass towns & if there was I'd have to take a 50% pay cut in which I am not interested in.

Where do you live? How far is the commute to the closest large city?

I am thinking of putting Hollister in my 24 month plan & buy out there... I don't care if I commute 2 hours a day.

living in SJ I drive just to Sunnyvale & it takes me an hour anyways so fuck the extra hour commute.
