I love the week 9 bye week! I hate when the bye week is early in the year. Week 9 gives us a couple days to re charge mid season and go on a run to close out the year!

I see us at 12-4 maybe 13-3 at best and NO WORSE than 11-5 and that would also be us losing the div to Seattle at 11-5 and sneaking in the playoffs at 11-5 as a wild card team.

i havent seen Seattle's schedule yet but they are capable of turning in a 12-4 of their own and winning the division. That week 2 game, even though we will have 14 more games is going to CRUCIAL!!!!!!!! Who ever wins that game will have the other team chasing for the rest of the year. Its gonna be a great season win lose or draw!

I keep hearing we want to move up on Thursday night, for what? for who?

Anyone got some info??
Honestly from what I have seen these last two seasons harbaugh and baalke rarely let out any info. So your guess is as good as the next persons.

With that said I hope the 49ers trade up and pick up Tyler Eifert, he seems like a legit red zone threat and would be a great replacement for Delanie "butter fingers" Walker.

If the draft starts at 5pm, and I leave work at 5:20 living 20 minutes away from my house with moderate traffic and a slight wind from the north east

Will I make it home in time to see the 49ers draft? If we trade up to lets say 15?

AND Reid did ALL of his playing in the SEC which means he will be ready to play EARLY in his career. Anyone can be a bust being picked in the 1st round, but his chances of making a splash in the NFL go up based on the fact that he played 3 years in the SEC which is the toughest most physical conference in college football. I like the pick. I wanted him or the Vallesco (sp?) kid from texas i think his name is. Both are SOLID dbs. And we moved up 13 spots for virtually a 3rd rounder.... We still have 11 picks left... We will do work in this draft. Our best picks are usually 3rd-5th rounders.....

Side note non football related... Reid has a 4 yr old daughter which means he has to be more mature and ready for the JOB aspect of the NFL, more so than 95% of the kids being drafted. Which will translate to no DUI's or too much partying. HE will be in the bay for FOOTBALL!
