As you may recall, she was in a car crash in 2006, and the woman in the other vehicle, Awatef Aboudiha, passed away. Brandy’s Range Rover had struck the woman’s car on a freeway in Los Angeles, killing her.
No criminal charges were filed, but the children of the women will be seeing some money out of the deal. According to TMZ, L.A. County Superior Court has ordered that Awatef Aboudiha’s two children will each receive a $300,000 settlement.
The woman’s husband, Marouane Hdidou, who has yet to settle with Brandy, rejected his part of a $1.2 million settlement offer in February.
We agree that it’s fair that the family be paid off as a result of the crash, but the father seems like he’s being a little too greedy, don’t you think? Why isn’t $1.2 million enough for him?
