Recent reports have claimed that The Rock is all but guaranteed a WWE Title run heading into WrestleMania 29, where he will likely defend the title against John Cena, however, according to The Wrestling Observer, it's not a guarantee that The Rock will defeat CM Punk at The Royal Rumble.

The WWE creative team has pitched several Rock/Title win scenarios, one of which includes Rock ending CM Punk's title reign at the Royal Rumble, and another that would see CM Punk retain at The Royal Rumble in controversial fashion and drop the title to The Rock at Elimination Chamber.

GOOD ONE! (The bold form your post.)

Yes, humanoid, the Bret vs Austin match is what set him apart from everyone else and made his stock go through the roof.

Remember, Stone Drunk was losing strap matches to Savio Vega a year or so before he had his match with bret. If Austin had been hired back by wcw he would have retired a Holywood Blonde and at BEST a placeholder US Champion.

Now look at Austin. He is a shell of himself and a drunk. The Stone Cold I watched, the BEST Stone Cold, wasn't a Stone Cold Drunk talking about "Gimmie a Hell Yeah" and relying on stupid phrases like "WHAT. WHAT. WHAT. WHAT." H3e was a fuckin nut, who didn't give a damn about any of his "friends", people like Pillman for example, did his own thing and didn't give a shit. However, because he hit that ceiling that Punk talked about, they changed him so they could sell a bit more T-Shirts.

Once again the powers in the WWE are holding back the greatest thing in sports entertainment so they can sell more t shirts to the snotty nosed kids in the crowd.

Stone Drunk doesn't deserve a match. He needs to stop trying to steal peoples shine. He's 45? I thought he was 55 actually but whatever. He and Flair and other wrestlers trying to hold on by a thread need to let it go. I don't have anything against a drunk who made his name by drinking beer and asking the same question over and over. And if he were to ever fight punk he'll go down in flames just like all the others and just like The Crock will.

And what the fuck is Redneck Island? That sounds like some degenerate shit an Austin fan would watch.

Honestly i had no problem with Rock coming back and getting the best of Cena in every way cuz most are sick of Cena but shit has gotten old quick. Even if WWE kind of ruined it Punks title run is epic cuz dudes like him were never meant to be the champion and the same could be said when Bret first won the belt way back when. We all know if Rock doesn't win the belt at Rumble he will at the Elimination Chamber which makes me sick, if Punk wins Rumble it better be a clean win, i dont care if its from a chair shot or whatever just no outside interfence.

I would be lying if i said i didn't really enjoy Rock being a heel in the time period of him fighting Hogan. To me Rock had it easy compared to Stone Cold and i always pulled for Stone Cold in his wars with the Rock. While Bret Hart put Stone Cold over he was a star in the making regardless. What other direction was WWE gonna go? Also when Stone Cold beat Kane on Raw to get his belt back i think i went more ape shit in that moment then any other moment ever watching wrestling, not even any NWO moments did i react more then that night. I really didnt like Rock in the 90's cuz i grew up with Samoans and they was always pumping up Rock lol. I cant really knock Stone Cold and Rocks legacies they made there mark that few ever have u cant really hate on that.

The thing that messed pillman up was the horrible car accident that he didnt never recover from it. He was in pain every day taking so many drugs to hide his pain and agony so he can work for wwe and wouldnt lose his contract bc he was getting up there with age and had hella kids to support. so his ability was limited why do u think most his raw appearences was just promo or segments with the hart foundation and he didnt have many matches and all them was short.

(lols) at you continuously discrediting The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Sorry, but CM Punk can't even take a shit in the same bathroom as those two guys. No comparison in any way, shape or form. There is no chance in hell that Punk will ever go down in history as being anywhere remotely close or on the same plato as Austin and Rock. He's been champion for how long now and still isn't, or ever will be the "top guy."

You haven't read a thing I've said. The REAL STONE COLD didn't give a damn about his friends, including people like Pillman, THAT is what I was saying. Instead, he was watered down to "Gimmie a hell yeah."
