According to F4WOnline.com, WWE has finally decided on the top four matches for WrestleMania 29 this year. While plans for the show have been switched around many times over the course of the past several weeks, it's being said that the top bouts for the big event have been settled on and creative will now start booking TV around those matches.

The plans began last night, with it being confirmed that The Rock will challenge CM Punk for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble, and next week's Raw, which is the 20th anniversary of the show, is expected to be just as big, if not bigger, than last night's broadcast.

WWE is reaching out to various legends to make special appearances and the WWE website is teasing that fans should "expect thrills and surprises of all shapes and sizes."

As we reported earlier, there was talk backstage at Raw last night that WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be in attendance for the 20th anniversary show.

Cena carried Rock to a good match.

Punk can do better and Rock has maybe been able to put more time into training for wrestling. Maybe last years match helped him get back into the swing of things and if so their math at the rumble should fantastic

Am i the only 1 that thought Punks rant yesterday was gold and then Rock came out and ruined it? Also i thought Punk got the better of the Rock and then of course they have to allow Rock to Rock Bottom Punk just to look like Rock got the better of Punk. I dont know if i can even watch wrestling the next month cuz its pretty wack to me Rock just gonna come back and take Punks belt.

There was no comparison with punk towards the rock and punk knows it. The rock is a real superstar and put punk in his place straight clowned em! Like some1 said made him look like a lil kid! Wether some1 writes for rock or not punk was no match for rock & rock only rock bottomed him because it was payback from the closeline from punk last time rock was on raw.

Mic presence is the key to being a superstar you have to win the crowd over to me I've never liked punk he's startin to come around but rock is far superior to him and to all except maybe the best stone cold steve austin.

CM Punk was right about Las Vegas, Tampa Bay Flordia, the WWE, the fans and he was right about the business and people like Clay shucking and jiving, Daniel Bryan resorting to catchphrases, Little Jimmy and everyone else. The more the fans cheer the more they get shit shoved down their throat. He is succesful in spite of the fans and he is going to beat everyone they put in front of him. He's been beating all of you, lol. I love it.

^ Everything you said I totally agree. I was thinkin of all that the lil jimmy reference, brodus clay ( who I happen to like since his 1st appearence) and cm punk talkin about tyson kidd was all the way on. Daniel bryan to me my favorite wrestler today is the exception we all know what he can do he happen to find a way to appeal to the people and it works he's a proven real wrestler though.

My point with the rock and punk though was punk rattles on too much what he was sayin was true but wwe is an entertainment business a big 1. Mcmahon is all ratings. I love wrestling but that ain't gonna sell itself with so many gimmicks and years of stuff it must be hard to sill stay on top.

New talents need to come in and make it work themselves not just in looks but most important on the mic like punk he has been a difference but not enough what the rock said, punks talkin about rejecting the people no the people reject him. He has his fanbase but to me is far from superstar status it is about the wwe universe punk is trying though I can tell he loves the business and is on his way up but the rock is on a whole different level.

I forgot to mention and most importantly alot of the gimmicks are for the kids 2. You may not like wwe on tv but a live show is hella fun I've taken my family and kids the kids love it. Lil jimmy, brodus that's for the kids even daniel bryan has became a face and got everybody yellin no.

People like Dwayne, Stone Drunk Steve Austin, John boy, etc have always tried to hold people like Punk down. Punk is a throw back to wrestlers like Bret and Backlund, wrestlers who didn't need a gimmick to get them over. Why were Rock, Stone Drunk and others in their time able to come up and make an impact? Because the climate was different and they had a shitload of wrestlers around who were good on the mic and good wrestlers. How many good wrestlers with good mic skills do you see now? Ask me this, why the fuck hasn't Gabriel been given a real push? Why the fuck is Drew Mcintyre playing air guitar? The Rock, and all those people in his era had people to help carry the load and keep it exciting. Who does Punk have to work with? Big Slow? Defeated. Del Rio? Defeated. John boy? Defeated. Jericho? Beat him AND took his best in the world phrase (which is like beating him and walking off with his bitch.) Bryan? Beat him. Kane? Beat. The list goes on and on. He's doing his thing and will continue to do it.

The WWE needs to stop rehashing gimmicks. We've already seen Funkasaurus in the form of Akeem and Flash Funk. We've already seen Sandow (who is good by the way) with The Genius (and dean douglas.) We've already seen Carlito (I know he ain't there but still) with Razor. We already seen Dolph with Mr. Perfect. Ryback? Goldberg. Wade Barret and the tough englishman role? Steven Regal. Del Rio? Razor and Ted Dibiase. Swagger? Kurt Angle. You guys don't see a pattern here?

When punk won the belt and jumped in the crowd and blew mcmahon a kiss that was great. But they fucked it off his angle because he was gettin too much heat. He was on the verge of being as big than the rock and stone drunk imo. But they pumped the brakes on it.
I am going to make a bold prediction. I think he's going to beat the rock at the rumble, somebody is going to cost rock the match.

You're tired of the truth? So you would prefer listening to a guy who LEFT the fans for dead make retarded sexual references while he is on the mic? You're one of the fans Punk is talking about.

People can't match it because they aren't given the chance to match it, that's what Punk is saying.

Right again about alot of what you said alot of the gimmicks are a lil silly Drew, and Gabriel deserve a shot but its not a 1 night business could they hold it down. There have been firings though new writers have come and gone there have been arguments with Vince himself about the product. This is why HHH is taking over Vince is gettin old I think wrestling has picked up lately new talent has come through to me sandow has it all it takes time to develop.

For the Rock and Stone Cold yes there were others who were great but not like those two or else they'd be better besides HHH and a few others.

I don't see how anybody is holdin punk down you sound like him he ain't gettin any further than he is he's missin something. He connected with paul heyman ( wich I thought was great) and that fake heart attack scene taunting against jerry lawler I thought that was coo 2. Wwe is trying to build more superstars they have given them the keys guys like Orton, Punk, Del Rio, Sheamus its on them its all there but not at the elite status yet.
