Just got this from Oakland Police:
On December 6, 2012 at approximately 12:25 PM, the male suspect entered the Bank of the West located at 4900 Telegraph Avenue. The male approached the teller window, alleged he had a gun and demanded money. After committing the robbery the male fled on foot with the loss.
The male suspect is described as an African-American male 20-27 years old, 6’, 160 pounds, medium build, short black hair, brown eyes, moustache, light to medium complexion. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with white strings, a light colored T-Shirt, light grey sweatpants and black and white shoes with white trim.
A weapon was not seen at the time of this robbery.
The Oakland Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $ 1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest in this case.
The investigation is on going and anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department Major Crimes Section-Robbery and Assault Unit
