another dumb statement...with a non-biased approach, let me start off by saying kaepernick has the talent to be better than tony romo, and i think he eventually will be. but already in his first year as a starter, kaepernick is on a stacked team with a good defense, a solid offensive line, and a consistent running back in frank gore, who we all know is the 49ers career rushing leader. there's a total of 9 pro bowlers (and possibly even more) on the current 49ers roster.
but since you know everything about the dallas cowboys, you know that tony romo has never had a defense as good as the 49ers current defense, he's never had a good offensive line (except the 2009 season when the cowboys were 2nd in the league in total rushing) and the cowboys have never given him a consistent running back with players like julius jones, felix jones, marion barber, tashard choice, philip tanner all starters during tony's tenure as the starting dallas cowboys quarterback. yes, he's only won 1 playoff game out of 3 total playoff games...but how many has colin kaepernick won? despite all that and focusing on his negatives, tony romo has the 2nd highest quarterback rating in nfl history behind aaron rodgers.
