Ok so where do I begin? I know..............Manny U Got Knocked Da Fucc Out Mannnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!! Bwhahahahahahahah. I knew Marquez would win but damn! Now all these muthufuckas who keep callin for Floyd can shut they trap! Dude cant even beat Marquez and got creamed! Floyd murked Marquez with no controversy after an 18 month lay off lol. Wow this shit is classic! I cant stop laughing actually. I winder what Skip Bayless is gonna say now? Haha.

Ok so like bigface said Broner would destroy Gamboa no questions asked. For 2 Manny better not fight Rios because he would get knocked out cold again trust me! Rios/Marquez seems pretty good to me. I would actually love to see Floyd fight Marquez on Cinco De Mayo and beat his ass again just to really prove what would happen if him and Manny did fight. I think that fight now what do huge numbers. Manny is done daada! I dont see him beating anyone good anymore so Im not sure who he should fight to retire on a win? Classic shit tonight and I loved every minute of it. Got Em!!

Why would Manny retire?
He only looked bad against Marquez.
He put the smack down on everyone else.
So he got KO'd. He's still one of the best.

You guys are delusional.

If he wants to retire he can, but it's safe to say he has a lot of fighting left in him and he's a tough opponent for anyone.
Getting KTFO like that at this point in his career (ring+physical age) isn't good. The brain doesn't rebound, just ask Ricky Hatton or RJJ. One minute their chin is good the next its glass.

No shit Floyd would beat Marquez, they're both counter punchers and Floyd doesn't need to attack as the champ...

Manny doesn't have a glass chin. He never had a glass chin.
Plenty of fighters (boxing and MMA) have been KO'd late in their career and have come back to put on great fights while avoiding another devastating loss.

Manny get's hit with a clean counter and people act like he's a done deal.

He's fine.

Its the begining of the end. Its the natural part of boxing&mma. In either sports most fighters start out at a lighter weight then as their bodies grown to their man weight they are forced to move up divisions/classes. Then God willing they still carry over their speed, power and ability to take a punch. So as they go years into it they wear down. Sure they might be able to make weight but eventually they wear down mentally from absorbing so much punishment at a weight that wasn't their natural class to begin with. So the smart 1s cut weight n go back down if they can to be competitive. The foolish stay at or go higher in weight, suffer a devastating ko like that (face first fall and unconscious for minutes) and are NEVER the same. Either they r quick to get KO'd (ala Taylor), have fear in their eyes (ala Cotto) and quit emotionally (ala Judah), have trouble taking big shots (ala RJj) or end up adopting a Sugar Shane style of safety first.
I guarantee u Top Rank doesn't put Manny in with anyone who didn't start out at 135 or less from here on. Let's face it Manny's in and out n toe2toe style won out b/c of his speed n power but what really did it for him was he could take the other guys shot, whereas so many couldn't. Now that he's showing wear n tear he's faced with the improbable task of changing his style to account for what time will show as a weakening chin. Just ask Pavlik, Khan, Abraham, Berto, Ortiz, Morales etc how hard it is to have to keep in mind the limit of their chin when they can't easily out power someone who can throw some quality leather.

What to watch for:
1. Manny might be going thru the Tiger Woods/Tim Lincecum sports complex. This is usually characterized when a former womanizer or drug user or both is outted publicly about their personal ills. They have a total character implosion, give up the vices which somehow were connected to their mental well being and physical abilities, thus causing the athlete to become timid and insecure. Then they barely resemble the athelete they once were. We all know Manny gave up boozing, gambling and sexin cuz he got caught by his wife.

2. If he comes back all Tatted up after a trip to find himself he's 100% over. Every boxer who comes back with hella tatts after a loss is historically done.

3. If he ends up with Buddy McGirt as his new trainer, kiss his philipino ass goodbye.

4. If he comes out in his next fight using the Mayweather shoulder roll its really curtains.

Damn I'm out of words, loss my damn voice watching this shit lol Marquez was taking some bombs in the 5th and manny got too reckless imo. That was a perfect punch from Marquez damn. I wanna see Marquez vs Bradley. I don't know about manny tho that's a tough loss to bounce back from, he's mentally fucked. I wanna hear what mayweather has to say about this shit lol

Tyson got pummeled by Douglas and came back.
Tyszu was out on the ropes and came back.
Lewis caught a haymaker from Rahman and came back.
Darchinyan gets his head twisted around and he's doing great right now.
Manny get's caught with a Marquez counter and it's game over?

That just doesn't add up, to me anyways...

It's really not over until the fighter says it's over.
