It was still a lot higher than most other states even before that. I'm still happy it passed. I've gotten quite a few deals for around the same price as before and a few for even cheaper when stuff is on sale. That said even if it stays a few bucks more (which it shouldn't) I'm more than happy to pay that for the convenience of being able to walk a block over at 1:45am and buy a bottle instead of finding a fucking liquor store and having to be there by 8pm or I'm out of luck for the night. Don't even get me started on the pain in the ass that was finding an open store on a Sunday was.
