One of my students almost got a smack in class today. These fucking kids are so spoiled and entitled. This little fucker actually raised his voice to me. Maybe its the internet thats causing this shit, people seem to no longer understand that there are actual repercussions for being little bitches. Or maybe parents in the 90s just didnt own nearly enough wooden spoons and belts.

I'm ready to go for the next two nights. Got a 12er of 16oz High Lifes, a 24oz Arrogant Bastard Ale, a 24oz El Jefe Weizen Ale, and around a 5th of whiskey left of the half gallon. Got lots of reefer too and I don't plan on doing shit tomorrow or the next day especially with this weather.

My mom never smacked or hit me, she spanked me when I was little but that's about it. I personally don't think that has much correlation between how people behave and studies have shown over and over that it doesn't. Some people are just self-centered assholes and I'm guessing if these are mostly entitled kids who have been handed everything it only increases the number of them that are that way.

My dad spanked me when I was little, but my mom would always give me a smack, especially in the car. And in all seriousness I don't think that discipline needs to be physical at all. I doubt I would spank my kids. But best believe there is a lack of discipline in general in a lot of college age kids these days. They seem to be unable to connect bad behavior with its potential consequences.

So yeah, i agree with you, its a lack of discipline in general thats the issue, not a lack of physical discipline.

...but it still would have felt great to backhand that little fuck in class.

There comes an age, I think around 6-10, where spanking doesnt work just as much as telling them no doesnt work. Now I aint saying beat the shit out of your kids, but if they cross the line enough, roughing em up is a viable solution to show them what they did isnt something theyre gonna want to do or try again.
