Awful but you know the Tigers are in the top 5 right (even if it's 70 million less lulz)? And also their owner(s) also are richer than the Yankees so they could spend more if they wanted which they did by more than 25% over 2011 season which was a big help of getting them even this far. Although they are probably about to get swept by the Giants (who have the richest owner may I point out) just like they did the Yankees.

Also here is a fun tidbit of info: The Steinbrenners aren't even in the top 10 richest baseball owners anymore. So who's fault is it then that they actually invest in their team when so many others don't?
