I'm in a rehab center (basically a nursing home). I still have no feeling in my foot/ankle, and the doctor doesn't think I'll get feeling back in it. I damaged my syattic (sp) nerve severely. He says though there is a chance the nerve will wake up. So I keep the faith.

My best option was to come to this facility becuz I couldnt walk or stand, and coming here I would have 24 hour care and physical therapy everyday. I'm now walking with the help of a walker and a brace. I'm making a lot of progress, so hopefully I can get out of here soon.

They tell me, people who have the condition I have eventually live a normal life and can walk with using just the brace. So thats my goal. If I have to walk with a pimp cane, so be it, as long as I'm alive and breathing.

damn bro that is ALL BAD. My sis has that ciotic nerve thing going on too, she has been getting steroid shots for it, but she still cant do much. She couldnt even stand or walk or anything for 2 or 3 weeks.

I am worried for her because of all the negative attention these shots are getting in the news right now.
