I don't really see what is so "sad" and "weak" about this card that has so many people complaining
both Silva vs. Bonnar and Big Nog vs. Herman were last minute replacement fights to save the show giving the fighters 4 week training camps due to Aldo pulling out of ANOTHER fight and Rampage pulling out. The fights weren't booked like this on purpose. Dana White and Joe Silva didn't pick a date 4 months out and start making these fights lol these are guys who stepped up to save the show.
MMA fans are kind of starting to piss me off. When two evenly matched guys get put up against each other and the fights goes to decision all I hear is "waaaah, boooo, that fight sucked, the UFC is fucking up, waaaah", but now we have the greatest knockout artist in MMA history fighting a balls to the wall brawler with an iron chin who Jon Jones couldn't even finish. This fight is nothing but an exciting fight that got put together to save the show and now all I hear is "waaaah, this fight is a joke, the UFC is a joke blah blah blah"
fucking christ, just enjoy the damn fights
i'm gonna break this down, because all I see are exciting fights on this card
Silva vs. Bonnar - G.O.A.T vs. a possible Rocky story who is a golden gloves boxer with a Gracie BJJ black belt
Maldonado vs. Teixeira - fireworks and a KO waiting to happen
Herman vs. Big Nog - brawler vs. legend, can't see this not being exciting, I see Nog winning by TKO, Nog has been rocking everybody he's faced lately
Jon Fitch vs. Erick Silva - the many years #2 WW in the world vs. the "next big thing" and possible most exciting WW in the division right now. How could anyone not like this fight?
Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado - rematch from the controversial NC from a few months ago, Phil Davis who is scraping the top 10 who only has a loss to top 5 in the world Rashad Evans vs. undefeated Wagner Prado who's undefeated and entered the UFC with a ton of hype. Should be a great fight.
Damien Maia vs. Rick Story - one of the best submission artists in UFC history fighting a hungry Rick Story who's trying to get back to his hype level he had after he beat Thiago Alves, great fight to open the show.
Honestly I see a stacked card, don't really know what the fuck people want out of UFC shows now days, seems like people somehow magically want 5 title fights on every Pay Per View with nothing but top 10 fighters filling it in everywhere else, all they seem to want is "superstar" power rather than great fights. Whatever though, to each his own, i'm hyped as hell for this show.
