lol its 60 bucks a year. but i preordered it and it was shipped to arrive by the release date (which is tomorrow here). i was hoping it would get here today but it didnt so i should get it tomorrow

Fifa 12 I didn't know much about ultimate team, and how the market works. This time I hit Ultimate Team running, and have about 50k in coins, and buying selling players.
I also got the 1 gold pack for 24 weeks. I may buy a few too. My goal is to build up a team with the premier Portuguese players in liga bbva, and then surround them with strong folks from Madrid and Barcelona. If I can fit in some Portuguese players from the national team I will too.
I already got lucky, and got KaKa, and Di Maria in a gold pack. Hard part is getting Ronaldo. I'm not sure if I should save up for him first, or build a team with Benzema up from first, and then save up? thoughts?

btw, ive played fifa pretty consistently over the last few yrs, but never ultimate team, just online or friends. whats the best approach for an ultimate team n00b?

D.I.R.B: Coins arn't easy to get, and you will start out with a shitty team with no chemistry.
Ways to increase chemistry is to get player who are either same nationality, or play in same league. Also get players that are ment to play the formation you chose. Some formation's cost a lot more to play then others. Look in the marketplace for formation cards, and see which ones are cheaper, that you would want to run with.
Don't worry to much right now on the overall player rating's work toward a gold team with good chemistry in a league you like. Then slowly start adding better players to your squad.
Every match you get coins, so start saving.
You can also play the marketplace buying cheap, selling high. It's not so easy right now. I bought a bunch of 4-1-2-1-2 and 4-2-2-2 formation cards that tend to go for a premium. I bought them for 5k, and hope to sell them from 7k and up.

You need to go the market and buy it, or get lucky and get the one your looking for in a pack. They pretty cheap.
This shit is still kind of learning curve from from fifa 12... the contain is not as tight, and easier to dribble around people. The passing, and threw balls are more accurate. Also players go on better runs.
