I think the mob album is gonna blow away the function album. old school. .
how do u know its gonna sound old school? I bet you it wont. the mobb album will probaly have the same sound range as the last six e-40 albums (R&R , BB). they not gonna put out that old 90s sounds bc them times done.

There were a FEW old school sounding songs these past few years...

The Art of Storytelling

Taken 'em Back

Cutlass...

I mean hell, if I hear at least 6 brand new songs that sound like those 3 I'll be pretty damn happy.

I thought every beat Rick Rock did on the block brochures was mobby as fuck. And he also puts a gang of unknown bay area dudes on his albums also. Even on function the first single had bay dudes I think. Some of the other beats definitely suck tho.

Nothing against you my dude but I think those two songs suck. On my first listen I dont like neither one at all. E-40 may just be tryin to fit in with the new generation(west) but the mobb shit is in his soul, I can still hear it.

Mobb album = mobb beats
Function album = same general sound range as the last six e-40 albums

There's a reason they are distinctly classifying the two albums the way they are. Why would they go through the trouble of calling one album "mobb" and the other "function" if both albums sounded the same?
