There is this other thing I'm in called King of The Hill Survivor League. You get up t0 3 picks ($10 a pick) and each week you pick a team to win... for example... my week 1 picks:
WEEK 1
Pick 1: Bears
Pick 2: Eagles
Pick 3: Texans
All my teams that I picked won so I advanced all three picks to the next week. Once you pick a team on a line, you can't pick that team again on the same line but you can use them on your other pick lines. For example... my week 2 picks:
WEEK 2
Pick 1: Texans (used them on Pick 3 last week, now using them on Pick 1)
Pick 2: Patriots (cocksuckers got beat by the Cards so I lost this pick)
Pick 3: 49ers
WEEK 3
Pick 1: 49ers
Pick 3: Saints
If the team you pick wins with a shutout, meaning the other team doesn't score any points, you get a bye the next week. You don't have to pick a team so pretty much a freebe.
We had a total of 104 picks at the beginning of week 1 and we are already down to 43 picks, two of which are mine
I still have a chance at winning $1040.00. A shit ton of people went out last week picking the god-damned Patriots, including myself. I hate upsets, but that's how it goes, especially this early in the season. Last year I fucked up by trying to pick and get rid of the weak teams first so I could save my best for last. As I quickly learned, that was fuckin' stupid so I changed up my strategy this year. Everyone was out by week 5 last year. We only had 85 picks tho so a total pot of $850.00. It's a cool lil' gig to get in on... makes football more interesting as you want to watch all the games (especially since the VIKINGS are fuckin' sucking ass this year).
