1. san francisco houses a high population of homosexuals, and has the castro district, which has been a popular gay neighborhood for decades.

2. despite existing for 14 more years than the cowboys, the 49ers share the same amount of superbowls.

3. in terms of regular season matchups, the cowboys have a winning record vs. the 49ers, 16-15.

4. in terms of playoff matchups, the cowboys again have a winning record vs. the 49ers, 7-2.
