When i used to have slap in my trunk id bump his first cd all the time. It was around the time it came out, and i was doing dishes and prep cooking at a couple different restaurants. Id smash out to The Talent Cafe knocking that hus cd smoking mad weed, then id get there and do coke in the bathroom lol. Ended getting fired there for giving the owners son mushrooms, and coke one night.

He will give credit and says he reworks them at least. Plus he does still do quite a bit of his own production. Dre literally stole his whole (old school Dre) style from someone else. Like ripped it off from them. Plus he was known to take beats that got sent to him/NWA/Death Row/Aftermath and change them up a little and call them his own. The folks couldn't do much about it because at the time he had the power to black ball them from the industry and them money and lawyers (which I'm sure that part he still does) to not ever want to go there with it.

You didn't hear from him much after it became pretty cheap and easy to copywrite your own music before sending it out to folks if you noticed (do to the internet age) and what you have heard from him well, speaks for itself.

I'm pretty sure that's why The Detox hasn't dropped. It's not easy to straight up jack beats these days lol.

Great story breh lol. With all what I said there is a maybe a handful of Hus songs I like. Hell there are lots of songs I can't explain why I like them by various artists I usually don't like. Overall Hus just was always wack to me though.

I really like that new Captain Murphy song a lot. I like the vibe and FlyLo's production is great. Plus it's his first non jacked beat (outside Between Friends with Earl) but man every time he drops something it confuses me more to who it is. Honestly like some said I think it might be more than one person which would be a cool concept. I always like how they alter/pitch shift/change up the sound of the vocals whoever the fuck it might be, it really fits the music.

Plus on the new song FlyLo sampled an awesome Os Mutantes song on the chorus...
