damn I was light-weight pulling for the Seagull's - I thought they had it. I don't know why they didn't try and rush it in.

@Parker, what was the bet? I'm waiting for meta to come here raging.

@R.Nato that Hammer track is fuckin sick! nice work. give me a breakdown of how you made that, if you will. (i.e. acapella source, vsts, samples?)
thx man...

I didn't have a acapella, but I chose that track because it had a lot of low freq for the beat, and not much hi synth leads. I was able to run it threw of vst called "mashmatic" that can capture different freq of song, so I was able to sort of capture a DIY accapella of the track, and drop out the beat. (Same with Wasted, and most remix's I do)

Drums I used on that track was a Vst called Rob Papen Punch, basically like a Drum Machine, with a lot tweakabilty.

Bass I used Kontakt Sampler Bass Patch.

Rest of it was samples that I pitched across my keyboard. I forgot what songs, but they where pitched down, and slowed.

The thing is when I use Ableton I make like 4 to 7 part/change ups to my beat, with automation. It helps to give a live feel, and not repetitive.
