***i do not want to ruin anyone elses experience but i just wanted to vent so be warned there may be spoilers in this post***
You know some asshole just ruined the books/story for me by talking about something called the red wedding. He came over when me and a couple other people were talking about the end of the the first episode of the second season *spoiler alert" they were killing off the bastard children. he said if you think that is crazy wait until the red wedding then he went into detail about what happened even though i told him i dont want to hear it. Some assholes just got to ruin everything let me just say dont get attached to anyone in this story. sorry just wanted to vent

This show is fucking awesome. I was kind of puzzled as to why they would kill Ned off, but the ripple effect of his death has a lot to do with what's happening so far in season two.


Anyone else besides me speak Dothraki?

it's weird how tv shows and movies work. like the Dothraki in this are eqully as evil as the Lannisters yet everyone including myself loved them lol. maybe it was cause how honest they were. Lannisters do it in such a shady way where you cant help but hate them where Dothraki are just beasts.

I sure hope Season 2 & 3 is book 2 split into two seasons. That book is amazing. I hope book 3 is split into two tv season too. As far as the entire series of books I feel the series takes a fat dump after the 3rd book. Book 4 was disappointing and 5 not much better. He (Martin) really veered from the storyline in these last two releases. I really don't see how he ties everything together in books 6&7 to finish the series. "Reek, Reek is rhymes with geek." I think he got 4 pages of text with that fucking stupid phrase in book 5.

I forgot who some of these secondary characters are, like the guy who recruited the pirate, who is he? Also the guy who went to see his dad and found out his sister was taking his position of being in command. I really don't feel like watching season 1 again.

Just finished the 2nd episode and I was lost during the last 3 scenes, who the fuck are these people? lol What was going on at the very end, shit was too dark to see anything.

Davos is the guy who recruited the pirate dude, he used to be a smuggler, I don't think he was in the 1st book. The other guy is Theon, he was held hostage by Ned Stark to prevent his father from rebelling, he didn't have a 'stache in the 1st season.

theon grayjoy. its funny because in the first season and book he always had some smug look on his face and some smartass comment to make. he arrives there expecting some big celebration for his return and no one gives a shit. then he ends up feeling up his sister without knowing and his father dissed him big-time. comedy
