Full house of visitors to 49ers

SANTA CLARA -- Coach Jim Harbaugh showed his poker face on Monday.

When asked if winning the NFC West was a big deal or whether it was just a stepping stone, the 49ers coach did not show all of his cards.

"We may be ahead on the chip count, but we don't have a seat at the final table," Harbaugh said.

Perhaps the poker analogy was foreshadowing the arrival of a visitor. On the same day new Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson and his staff visited the 49ers, so did the most recognizable face and voice of professional poker.

Phil Hellmuth, the colorful holder of 11 World Series of Poker bracelets, was a guest Wednesday at the 49ers practice facility. Hellmuth lives in Palo Alto.

49ers president Jed York wrote on Twitter: "Thanks @phil_hellmuth for talking to the team today. Great catching up. Can't wait to watch you win some more tournaments."

So it's looking more and more like Desean Jackson is going to be available next season and the Niners are desperate need of down field threat. Would you guys want the Niners to go after him? This dude is sick as fuck when he's out there playing, but lately he's been acting like a little bitch.

i'd take him as long as he doesn't take up to much of our cap space, he would basically be replacing ginn. Hands are more reliable then ginn's and is a bigger threat on specials team. So yea it would be a instant upgrade.

The more I think about it the more I think Harbaugh wouldn't want him. He loves players that are 100% about the team and Desean's recent behavior shows he's the opposite. Niners definitely need to add a big threat wide receiver.

the thing with the eagles though is they didnt take care of him, they handed out money to everyone but jackson. I can argue if it's not for jackson the eagles don't make the playoffs last year. Also jackson wont be pulling that shit in the locker room in Santa Clara, too many season vets that will put him in his place, people from now on that step into that locker room will fall in line just like everyone else.
