Yep, now that Mayweather's vacation is over for the time being, team Manny still wants to find a way out of the fight. When Floyd was on vacation, Manny (supposedly) agrees to all of his testing demands (we didn't hear nothing about a petition to the commission or this WADA crap), now that Floyd is back and doesn't have an opponent, Timothy Bradley all of a sudden surfaces an opponent that Manny could face if he beats Marquez.

Mayweather is the top man at 147 and Manny wants no part of him. Ortiz was top man at 147 before he got knocked out and Manny wanted no part of him. So how is he pound for pound number one when he doesn't fight the top WW's in the division?

Ortiz is too young, big, and strong for Pacquiao to fight (even though Pacquiao fought Margarito at 150!!!!), so I don't see that fight happening at all. Just check Pacquiao's history, Ortiz would have to look old, shot or show some kind of weakness like a loss of reflexes in order to get a fight with Pacquiao. Or he'd be forced to make 140 or something.... there would have to be some kind of handi capped advantage in Pacquiao's favor.

Floyd took on the young lion and knocked him out. Floyd fights top contenders, Pacquiao doesn't...
lmao! Ortiz would get hurt by pacquiao let's not kid ourselves here.

BIG news:

Hershman to be HBO's sports president
by Lem Satterfield
Oct 13th, 2011

RingTV.com has learned that Showtime's General Manager of Sports Ken Hershman., will be named as rival HBO's President of Sports, taking over the position vacated by Ross Greenburg, who announced his resignation in July after having been at the helm since September of 2000

HBO received a significant blow when promoter Bob Arum turned to rival Showtime for the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley fight in May, although it’s not clear whether that has anything to do with Greenburg’s departure.

It is unclear when the announcement will become official.

"This is an HBO decision, and an internal decision," said Arum. "HBO is free to appoint anybody it wants in any position that it wants at HBO. Other than that, I have no reaction and no comment."

lol @ you knuckleheads still saying Mayweather knocked Ortiz out legitimately.

Funny thing is it took Ortiz to not have his hands up and a referee not even paying attention for him to get that "knockout"......let alone he basically got right back up after being completely cheap shot by Floyd's most powerful punch he's ever thrown.

How proud you must be for your boy Floyd.

@argentine, How did he get right back up? If so, he would've beat the count. It was a legit knockout bruh, you gotta live with the results. All the controversy in the fight was caused by Ortiz, first he headbutts with bad intentions, then he doesn't get his guards up after the ref says "Let's go". Floyd hit Ortiz with a left and Ortiz looked at Cortez so then Floyd hits him with the right and nighty, night. There goes that spicy two piece from popeyes with a buttery biscuit.

I'm proud of Floyd for taking care of business and knocking that punk out. I didn't think Floyd would knock him out (check my previous post about the fight) but he gets props for that KO.

I think Ortiz would beat Pacquiao at 147 (without the vicious headbutts). It's funny how Pacquiao seems to avoid the top WW's. He didn't fight Berto when he was undefeated and at the top. Didn't fight Ortiz, while he was at the top. Didn't fight Shane when he was as the top. And now won't fight Floyd while he is at the top.

oh yeah trust mosley haha

Besides, we now know Pacquiao was lobbying the commission to get extra drug testing so kill that noise.
LOL. The new excuse Manny has been lobbying the commission for more testing, but yet he still won't sign a contract to fight Mayweather or submit to random drug testing. SMH at Manny's 10th excuse on why he doesn't want to get randomly tested and fight Floyd. After the Marquez fight we'll hear the 11th excuse on why Manny can't be randomly tested.

He did get right back up. You all act like he got put to sleep like Paul Williams over here. Dude took Floyd's hardest shots ever completely unaware and still managed to get to his feet after the fact.

Like I said...If you wanna sit here and take pride in that cheap ass "knockout" go right on ahead...for Floyd putting all he had into those two cheap shots the way he did and the way ya'll hype em up you woulda thought he killed em in there. lol

what contract you dork? you act like there is a contract pac can sign at any moment.

Like I said, wait till after JMM III and then talk about contracts.
The contract Manny refused to sign in March 2010 with the 14-day no test window you buttfuck. After the Marquez fight you will hear another excuse from team Manny on why they can't fight Floyd or be tested.

I think they both are gonna fight for a shot at Manny
think so? I wouldn't mind seeing it. I like Mike Jones. I mean bradley is a good fighter and all, don't get me wrong he's proved he's a great fighter, but I just didn't like how the whole thing went down with his contract, khan, how he handled the media, etc. But whatever, that's the past.

I'll tell you right now though if pac vs bradley fight I'm predicting a stoppage off a cut from a clash of heads. Bradley leads with his head a lot, and has cut his last 6-8 opponents with his head, but more importantly pacquiao is southpaw and bradley is orthodox so head clashes are expected as it is. Add to that Pac has that in & out style and Bradley lunges with his head spells disaster.

lol at the contract bigface always brings it even said floyd signed it and swears by it but when asked to post proof that floyd signed it he could not do it
No I just posted proof that Mayweather agreed to all terms for that fight and Manny didn't want to sign the contract. And that's a comfirmed FACT by a third party that Mayweather agreed to all terms and Manny walked away from the fight. Again stop dicking riding Manny and try again son. LOL Manny fans always trying to rewrite facts.
