I really dont want this to be the A's/Giants argument thread, that happens enough in every other thread. I will say I dont know where you get off saying anything about the time since the A's one a world series, since before last year, the last time the Giants won black people couldnt vote. And in that time the A's made the playoffs a dozen times, went to 6 world series, and won 4.

Anyway, firing Geren was good, I never liked him and I thought he should have been let go before the begining of this season. Need to turn the bats on, get some people hitting, or start looking to pull some people up and sitting some others. Miller in Sac has the hot bat right now, and once Carter rehabs in Modesto I'd give him another shot. Fielding hasnt been as tight as usual, need to step it up, pitching cant do everything, at some point you need to be able to score a run. Lots of season left, gotta get into a groove.

...22 years since they won shit! Last time the A's won shit Bush Senior was the new president in office, Lexus cars were just introduced, Andre the Giant was actively wrestling and Nintendo's Game Boy(BRICK) revolutionized portable gaming systems. LOL....

Once again we keep speaking on the now and you keep speaking on the past!

3 in a row, gotta keep it up and dig out of this hole...Gotta get everyone healthy. Good to know we can still hold a lead though, even with so many people on the DL...Hope the rangers, angels, and mariners lose a few and pick up a couple games before we have to play philly...Keep the bats going...

I like the A's.. but some of their fans are stupid as fuck.. if you root for the Dodgers and you're an A's fan you're a faggot... us Giants fans would never root for no Angels, we took down the Rangers for the 'ship..

4 in a row, bullpen doin it real big. Godzilla coming threw with the bat too. Melvin batting Godzilla everyday is getting him into a groove they need. Jemile Weeks doin a hell of a job. Defense still needs to tighten up, and Barton making dumb desicions is killing me. On the way back to .500 and beyond, gotta battle up until the all-star break.

Hardly. Sanchez was playing good enough to make all star game, and posey was leading in all star votes....

Tejada gotta go for us though lol. but..... im glad to see cahill have a solid outing, hes a beast, but against us, doesnt mean too much lol.

id attribute the sweep to the losses of sanchez and posey for us, more than firing geren for the A's lol
I'd attribute the sweep to the A's scoring more runs than the Giants. Read whatever you want into it, simple fact is the A's are rolling. The place for discussing why the Giants are or arent doing something would probably be the Giants thread...

Mark Ellis is scheduled back tomorrow. I hope Melvin has the balls to keep Weeks in. Jemile is the future at 2nd, I think its time to trade Ellis for what we can get, or time for him to step aside. Mark has been a great player, but I think its time to move on, and I hate to see him hang around and embarass himself like Chavez did.

yeah, its hard for me to believe hes declined so much. Such a solid hitter not to long ago. Been hard for me to get into baseball this year but this winning streak is definitely catching my attention
